Let's pretend I think

Some people, like Mr. Boots, care about my political opinion. I don't know why. I don't watch the news...because, well, I can't (no TV where I live, remember)... So the news I get is via web, and mostly slanted, but on that note, here's a recap of another sexy intellectual convo I had with "my Texas Sweetheart"...

TX: :    ok
so I'm a little confused about this and yer the hottest lawyer I know
...
me:  Laws need reasons
Taxes don't
TX:  yeah i read something about creating commerce in order to regulate it
because congress shall levy taxes
right
 me:  Why wow? Lol
 TX:  i love this stuff
and i work in an intellectual desert
 me:  Lol
TX:  surrounded by people who are against healthcare because Obama is a black socilaist muslim
*socialist
bad fingers
 me:  Lol
One sec. Hopping on computer
You think socialist or communist?
TX:  I think a bit of socialist
but i voted for the guy
because a little socialism is sexy
 me:  So did I
TX:  i have been a little disappointed though
me:  And my dad reminds me
TX:  some of that has to be higher expectations after the campaign
but I was deeply disappointed with how he handled Afghanistan and the financial crisis
mostly cause of what i read.
i generally trust my president regardless of party

TX:  i figure they get the best briefing and none of them really want to destroy america no matter what my boss says

 me:  Mmmmm
maybe
TX:  Here's my take on the GOP:
me:  I think he got an excellent briefing
I think he/his Administration made a choice
some agree with it some done
*don't
TX:  The problem with Romney is that the Etch a sketch metaphor is all too true though I suspect he's a closet moderate
I don't want to live in Rick Santorum's America
 me:  agreed
TX:  Gingrich is a power hungry Hutt
and Paul is a crazy old man
me:  Don't know enough about Santorums campaign
Gingrich Sucks,. and lord knows we will be in the shit house if he ever took over america
I don't know about Paul

me:  I see American public as a crying three year old
constantly wanting
never patient,
once they have what they want, they want to throw it away for the next shiny thing
Always asking "WHY:
never happy with the answer
because they don't understand it
and generally needing severe discipline
and education on how to be mannered human beings
Sent at 11:26 AM on Tuesday
 me:  just "my" thoughts
 TX:  wow
ok im gonna think about that one while i go back to my desert existence
:)
 me:  LOL
